Welcome to SimpleDPP (simpledpp.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our site. We currently use two analytics providers:
- Vercel Web Analytics – a cookieless, privacy-focused solution that stores only anonymised, aggregated usage metrics.
- Google Analytics (GA4) – loaded only after you give consent via our cookie banner.
2. Data We Collect
- Usage Data (Vercel Web Analytics): page URL, referrer, screen size, country; recorded without cookies and stored with a one-day IP hash so that visitors cannot be identified.
- Usage Data (Google Analytics): pages visited, session duration, device and browser type, approximate location. Data are anonymised and linked to a random client ID stored in a cookie (
_ga), but not to any personally identifiable information.
3. How We Use the Data
- Service Improvement: to understand how our site is used and enhance product features.
- Statistical Reporting: to monitor aggregated traffic patterns, popular pages and user flows.
5. Third-Party Services
Vercel Web Analytics: provided by Vercel Inc. (USA). No personal data is stored; IP addresses are hashed and discarded within 24 hours. See Vercel’s privacy notice at vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.
Google Analytics (GA4): provided by Google LLC. Data is processed according to Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Data Retention
Vercel aggregates are stored for 90 days. Google Analytics events are retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if our data-handling practices change. The “Effective date” at the top will always indicate the latest revision.
